Someone emailed me a post from the 15 Minute Lunch blog, which I had not visited previously. Apparently Johnny Virgil's post about a 1977 JC Penney Catalog he came across has rocketed his blog to insane viewing proportions. I'm sharing it here because it was hilarious and deserved pimping. I had the excuse that my mom was dressing me; however, I had these really cool polyester bell-bottoms (two pairs). I loved those pants!
That explains why I hung on to my virginity until almost 1980. It was the damn clothes.
Unfortunatley, they didn't sell such groovy fashions in the 'husky' department at Sears. So I wasn't stylin like that. I did get a pair of black high heeled dress shoes. I was only allowed to wear them on sunday.
I saw the picture and thought that ABBA was having a reunion tour.
